TheyCalled provides AI-powered phone answering and appointment management services for small businesses. These terms govern your use of our website and, where applicable, provide general information about our services.
Service Agreements
Our phone answering services are provided under individual service agreements with each client. The specific terms, scope, and pricing of services are defined in those agreements. These website terms do not replace or modify any signed service agreement.
Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. You may visit and view this website freely. We make no guarantees about the uninterrupted availability of this website.
Nature of Service
Our AI receptionist service answers calls, takes messages, and manages scheduling on behalf of our clients. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, our service is not a substitute for emergency services, medical advice, legal counsel, or any other professional service. Callers experiencing an emergency should contact 911 or appropriate emergency services directly.
Subscription and Billing
TheyCalled services are offered on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly cycle. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@theycalled.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refund Policy
Because our service is delivered immediately upon subscription activation, we generally do not offer refunds for subscription fees already paid. However, if you experience a significant service issue or believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at hello@theycalled.com within 14 days and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
SMS and Text Messaging
As part of our AI receptionist service, we may send SMS text messages to callers on behalf of our business clients. These messages include appointment confirmations, booking reminders, and follow-up communications related to the services discussed during a phone call.
Consent: By calling a business that uses TheyCalled and providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from that business through our platform related to your appointment or inquiry. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions. Typically, you may receive 1–3 messages per appointment (confirmation, reminder, and follow-up).
Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

We do not use phone numbers collected during calls for marketing or promotional messaging. SMS messages are limited to transactional communications directly related to the caller's appointment or service inquiry.
Intellectual Property
The content, design, and technology of this website and our services are the property of TheyCalled. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
TheyCalled provides its services in good faith and with reasonable care. We are not liable for missed calls, scheduling errors, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Our liability under any service agreement is limited to the fees paid for the affected service period.
Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify TheyCalled against claims arising from the content of their business operations, the services they offer to their customers, or their use of information provided through our phone answering service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Arizona.
